Mani Ratnam’s Raavan had an eventful premier in London on 16th of June, where the stars gathered together for the occasion. The venue was the Southbank coming up to the London’s BFI. It was joined in by Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, Vikram and even the Shah Rukh family. The movie director Mani Ratnam brought his movie in a bilingual forum, releasing it in two languages in Hindi and Tamil at the same time.
Mani Ratnam has always managed to grab the box office through its masterpieces proving to be a big hit of their time. His movies include the productions of Guru, Rosa and Dil Se. He believes to have brought about the movie with his best ‘spirits’. He said “It is just a few meters away, lets see it”. So the movie shall speak the rest for Mani Ratnam.
The storyline of Raavan runs along the story of famous epic Ramayan, where Sita was abducted by the demon Ravan. Abhishek Bachchan is playing the negative role, where Sita is played by Aishwaraya Rai. All this has been endeavored to be brought in a contemporary scenario. Abhishek Bachchan plays a role of Beera, with Vikram acting the Govinda. The music is brought about by AR Rahman. The movie is set to release on 18th of June and has already started grabbing the attention of many critics and movie lovers.
